Permitted Payments

Permitted Payments for Contract Holders

Under Welsh legislation, tenant application fees, admin fees, and referencing fees are strictly banned. Before, during, and after a tenancy, contract holders are only liable for permitted payments

Rent: Paid monthly in advance as agreed in the written statement.
Utilities & Council Tax: Council tax, water, gas, electricity, and broadband where applicable.
Default Payments: Lost keys/security devices (actual replacement cost) or late rent payments as permitted by contract terms.

Client Money Protection (CMP): Insured by Propertymark
Tenancy Deposit Scheme: Protected for peace of mind
Redress Scheme: The Property Ombudsman (TPO).
